As the lights dimmed at the Bogotá International Convention Center in Colombia, the four-day Andina Pack event concluded successfully. Known as a highly influential food packaging exhibition in the Latin American region, EPAK embarked on its journey with the mission to "make food packaging safer and simpler." Not only did it connect with over 150 high-quality customer leads, but it also accurately grasped the pulse of market demands in Latin America, adding another crucial step to the map of cross-border collaboration!

During the exhibition, EPAK, leveraging its comprehensive product portfolio and professional services, became a key point of interest for clients from multiple countries, achieving a dual success in “high-quality lead generation + core demand fulfillment.”
Extensive and Targeted Lead Coverage
EPAK acquired over 150 high-quality sales leads, with clients spanning multiple countries and industries. Among them, 71 Colombian enterprises expressed strong interest in deep collaboration, laying a solid foundation for EPAK’s expansion in Latin America. Key clients from neighboring markets including Venezuela, Ecuador, and Peru visited, confirming the regional adaptability of the products. Additionally, proactive inquiries came from emerging markets like Panama and Paraguay, as well as transcontinental clients from Spain and India, opening new avenues for global business growth.
High Demand Alignment
Market insights indicated clear trends in Latin America, with EPAK’s product matrix addressing core local needs. Film products led inquiries, particularly heat-shrink films, vacuum skin films, and high-barrier lid films, valued for oxygen barrier performance and long-distance transport suitability. Modified atmosphere and vacuum skin trays drew significant attention due to their visual display appeal and shelf-life extension benefits, making them ideal for fresh produce and catering sectors. EPAK’s one-stop packaging solutions catered to diverse client needs, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of comprehensive food packaging solutions.
Through in-depth discussions with on-site clients and industry peers, EPAK gained valuable insights into the vast potential of the Latin American market, reinforcing its strategic commitment to expanding its presence in the region.
Driven by shifts in international trade dynamics, the Latin American market—characterized by stable consumer demand and favorable procurement trends—has emerged as a “potential blue ocean” in the food packaging industry. With growth prospects surpassing those of the North American market, it offers an ideal pathway for high-quality Chinese packaging companies to expand globally.
Colombia, as a key regional hub, attracted numerous cross-border attendees from Brazil and neighboring countries, demonstrating significant market spillover potential. This provides an excellent springboard for EPAK’s products to further penetrate the broader South American market.
On-site research indicates that the Latin American food packaging market could reach a scale of hundreds of billions of RMB. Local clients show strong acceptance of premium Chinese packaging products, creating an optimal environment for EPAK’s cross-border platform and offering substantial potential for long-term collaboration across the region.

At the exhibition, we had the pleasure of meeting a distinctive client named Luis. Interestingly, his name closely resembles that of our sales representative Louis in both spelling and pronunciation, and both share a height exceeding 187 cm, with Luis being the tallest attendee at the venue. This cross-border coincidence immediately served as an icebreaker, fostering a smooth and engaging conversation, and quickly became a memorable highlight of the exhibition.
When Louis invited the client for a photo, the client took the initiative to include our meat model in the shot, demonstrating his genuine appreciation for the product presentation through action. This authentic gesture conveyed admiration far more effectively than any words of praise could.

Client A accidentally left behind his backpack containing important documents at the booth. International Sales Director Louis initially handed it to Client B by mistake. When Client A returned urgently, Louis promptly offered him a place to rest at the booth while searching for the missing items. Just as hope was fading, Louis happened to encounter Client B at the entrance, successfully recovering the backpack. This timely action not only resolved the situation but also earned the trust and appreciation of both clients.
Every international venture by EPAK reflects our dedication to innovation in the packaging industry and our commitment to pioneering new chapters in cross-border trade. Following our successful participation in the Andina Pack exhibition, the gateway to the Latin American market is now officially open, unlocking billion-dollar opportunities within reach.
EPAK will leverage this event as a strategic launchpad to respond swiftly to customer needs and optimize our cross-border service framework, ensuring that our “safer, simpler” food packaging solutions reach and benefit more global partners. Our journey continues, with each new destination offering opportunities for exploration, growth, and advancement. Together, we look forward to venturing into new horizons and shaping the future of global packaging.
